Solar Energy Spinning Disk Science Kit

Explore solar energy and energy conversion with a hands-on science kit that demonstrates how the power of sunlight can be converted into motion. Young scientists can observe solar energy in action as the included solar cell powers a motor to spin a reflective disk. The included instructions explain the science principles behind the demonstration, while an informative activity sheet provides additional ideas for Science Fair projects.

What You Get

1 reflective spinning disk
1 motor
1 solar cell
Instructions explaining the science principles
Informative sheet featuring Science Fair project ideas

How You Use It

Use the solar cell to convert energy from the sun into power that operates the motor and spins the reflective disk. The visible movement provides a hands-on demonstration of solar power and energy conversion.

Hands-On Science Exploration

A simple, engaging way to introduce solar energy through observation and experimentation. The included educational materials help students understand the science behind the demonstration and extend learning with Science Fair project ideas.

Science Fair Ready

Go beyond the initial demonstration with an informative sheet packed with ideas for Science Fair projects, giving students opportunities to continue investigating solar energy and related science concepts.
