The MoYu MeiLong 12×12 V2 takes one of cubing’s most intimidating puzzles and makes it genuinely approachable. At just 75mm and roughly 275g, it’s smaller than most 11×11 cubes and built with a matte, anti-slip finish that stays comfortable through long solves.

Why you’ll like it

Compact for a 12×12: A 75mm footprint fits the hand far better than the bulky big cubes of years past, so a 144-piece-per-face puzzle actually feels controllable.
Lightweight build: At around 275g it’s easy to hold and maneuver, which matters a lot when a solve runs long.
Matte anti-slip surface: The frosted-style finish gives you grip without the tackiness that slows turning down.
Creative play built in: Rearrange the 144 tiles per face to build letters, hearts, and pixel patterns there’s more to do here than just solving.

Tuning & control

Screw adjustment: Dial in tension to match your solving style, from looser and faster to tighter and more stable.
Wider outer layers: Broader outer pieces give your fingers more to grab, which smooths out turning on a puzzle with this many layers.

Performance & design highlights

Integrated 6-hole core: A solid center structure keeps a high-order cube like this tracking predictably.
Rounded corners: Improved tolerance means fewer lockups and catches as you turn through the layers.
Refined exterior: Premium texture and cleaner detailing improve the overall feel and durability compared to the original MeiLong 12×12.
